Καιρος Clock, 30cm diameter
These planets rotate very slowly. They make one rotation every 24 hours... Just like our own planet does! They tell the time, but in a different way than you're used to.
The ancient Greeks had two kinds of time: Chronos (Χρόνος) and Kairos (Καιρος).
Chronos time is the kind of time we are familiar with: it is definite and objective. We use seconds, minutes and hours to describe it. Kairos time however, was different: it is less exactly defined and subjective. It's "time to relax", "time to call a friend", "time to do Yoga", "Time to protect a piece of rainforest"
